In the past few months, Het Gastenhuis opened no less than three new branches. In early March, a festive opening was held in Emmen, where a dedicated team of about 25 committed employees will deliver highly personalized care for people with dementia. 20 apartments are available, including 2 for couples. A month later, on April 7th, Het Gastenhuis Geldermalsen held its grand opening in the expansion district of Lingedonk, situated between the train station and the old city centre. This new loving home for people with dementia will offer 42 apartments, open kitchens, multiple common rooms and a beautiful garden around the building.
Finally, on the 29th of May, the doors of Het Gastenhuis Nijmegen officially opened in the new district Hart van de Waalsprong. In his speech, the city's mayor Hubert Bruls noted the rapid growth of the city and the pressing need for good residential care facilities. He called Het Gastenhuis a very welcome addition to the city and the neighborhood, enabling people with dementia to live together in a respectful way.
