Conclusion strengthens market position with takeover of CRI Service | NPM Capital

Conclusion is strengthening its position in the open source market with its takeover of CRI Service, taking the business forward in Linux, Puppet and UNIX services. CRI Service is a knowledge warehouse for Linux, UNIX, middleware and hybrid cloud services. Conclusion has been active in the open source market for years, not only in Linux, Puppet and UNIX (Conclusion Xforce), but also in Java (First8).

The activities of CRI Service and Conclusion Xforce are being integrated and continued under the existing label Conclusion Xforce. This bundling of strengths will immediately put Conclusion Xforce out in front of the market for Linux, Puppet and Unix services. This will ensure that Conclusion can meet its customers’ needs in this field even better.

“The takeover of CRI Service fits perfectly within the growth strategy that we strive for as an ecosystem of specialised IT-oriented businesses,” says Engbert Verkoren, CEO of Conclusion. “One of the things we focus on is administering mission-critical systems and services with a high social relevance and a results obligation. We are happy to take over the responsibility for the digital processes of our clients and assist them in the digital transformation of their business models. Our enterprising mentality is often what makes the difference for the public and private-sector institutions we work for. We are looking forward to welcoming everyone from CRI Service into our ecosystem and leaving our mark on this domain together.”

The activities of CRI Service will be integrated into the existing activities of Conclusion Xforce. The contract with CRI Service was signed on 21 February 2017. Remco de Vries, current managing director of CRI Service, will become managing director of the new combination, which will be going forward under the Conclusion Xforce name. Current managing director of Conclusion Xforce Marco Bosma sees this as the right time to step down, in the knowledge that he is leaving the people of Conclusion Xforce in good hands. He has long wanted to reduce his commute travel distance, and sees this as a good opportunity to do so.

Over the coming weeks and months, the two organisations will be integrated to create a strong foundation for growth in the years ahead. Conclusion Xforce currently consists of approximately 100 Linux, Puppet and UNIX experts.
