De Boer Structures and RAI Amsterdam extend cooperation | NPM Capital

De Boer Structures has again signed a contract with RAI Amsterdam. De Boer will continue to provide temporary pavilions for various major trade fairs in the years ahead.

Maurits van der Sluis, COO of RAI Amsterdam, is proud that they are continuing to attract very large and appealing trade fairs to Amsterdam in 2017, such as PLMA, Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2017 and the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC). Van der Sluis: ‘These kinds of international trade fairs test the capacity of the existing trade fair venues. De Boer offers high-quality, comprehensive and functional solutions that provide the same quality as the existing locations. De Boer has proved to be a reliable partner, and therefore we have extended the cooperation.’

Arnout de Hair, CEO of De Boer Structures, comments that the extension of the contract with RAI Amsterdam confirms the excellent relationship that both organisations have developed over several decades. ‘During international high-profile events, RAI is in the spotlight worldwide as a trade fair location. We are pleased that we can continue to contribute to this in the years ahead.’

Extension of capacity

RAI Amsterdam aims to use its huge site of 23 hectares as flexibly and efficiently as possible and maximise the lettable surface area for visiting trade fairs. De Boer enables RAI Amsterdam to expand the capacity of the existing trade fair halls in a quick and flexible manner. For instance, on the forecourt and in the interior court of the RAI alone, more than 12,000 square meters of temporary pavilions can be placed within a few days, including facilities such as lighting, soft furnishings and sanitary facilities.

De Boer has been working closely with RAI Amsterdam since the nineties to temporarily expand the existing trade fair facilities for fairs and conferences.
