Jeco Energies strengthens its position in the Netherlands with the acquisition of Trafohuis

NPM participation Jeco Energies, specialized in energy solutions and industrial automation, is expanding its activities in the Netherlands with the acquisition of Trafohuis – LV Trading. Trafohuis, based in Bergambacht, has been active in the Dutch energy market for more than twelve years and supplies complete transformer stations and medium-voltage installations to grid operators and industrial customers, among others. The acquisition fits within Jeco Energies' growth strategy to further strengthen its position in the Dutch market and to expand its range of solutions.

With an annual delivery of more than 250 stations and a turnover of approximately 20 million euros, Trafohuis has developed into a reliable player in the industry. The company supplies both new and used installations that meet the requirements of European grid operators. In addition to supplying components, subsidiary IV Services now manages and maintains more than 1,000 transformer stations spread throughout the country. These service activities are well-aligned with Jeco Energies' existing product range, creating opportunities to further expand the service portfolio and deliver services closer to customers.

The acquisition represents an important step in the growth strategy of Jeco Energies. Earlier this year, the company acquired Applitech BV, a trusted supplier of Trafohuis. Bringing these companies together results in a stronger entity in the field of energy infrastructure, with more technical expertise, larger stocks and shorter delivery times. The combined knowledge of the organizations enables Jeco Energies to serve its customers faster and more flexibly, both in the Netherlands and in the broader European market.

With the addition of Trafohuis and its team, Jeco Energies is building a broader range of services for both temporary and permanent energy solutions. In the coming period, both companies will work closely together to further optimize the existing quality standards and service. The joint commitment is aimed at innovation, customer focus and accelerating the energy transition. By joining forces, a solid foundation is created for sustainable growth and Jeco Energies strengthens its role as a partner in the energy supply of the future.
