Kramp and Recinsa join forces | NPM Capital

Kramp acquired 100% of the shares of Recinsa effective 30 November 2018. The acquisition of the Madrid based company helps Kramp to further strengthen its presence in Spain and Portugal. For the first period, both companies will continue to operate independently.

Kramp is Europe’s largest technical wholesaler and service supplier for the agriculture, horticulture and forestry markets. Kramp currently has a sales office in Madrid and a warehouse in Madrid to deliver Spanish and Portuguese customers. The CEO of Kramp, Eddie Perdok, comments: ’As Kramp we have the objective to become the essential partner in parts and accessories for the agricultural industry. We know Resinca already for more than 10 year and have great respect and admiration for the family. In Spain and Portugal Kramp is relatively small and with the acquisition of Recinsa we can strengthen our position in the Iberian market. In time, the two companies will be merged into one location to provide the best service to our customers. With the acquisition of Recinsa we can benefit from the technical and market knowledge of the employees.”

Recinsa was founded in 1979 by Jesus Puago, who is still running the business together with his son Iván. The company is specialised in the distribution of spare parts and accessories for agricultural tractors. With 65 employees, they run their business for more than 5.000 customers and they have approximately 50.000 items in stock. Recinsa has its headquarters with a 2.400 m2 warehouse in Madrid, near the Kramp office. Next to this warehouse they have nine smaller locations throughout Spain, in order to be close to the customers.

The President of Recinsa, Jesus Puago, says: ”Recinsa has been permanently seeking continuous business development and company growth. This is an opportunity to develop the best of both companies. On the one hand a large European company with a family culture and on the other hand a large Spanish family business that has always looked after its customers in terms of quality, efficiency, innovation and services. Kramp and Recinsa together represent a unique value proposition to transform the future of the spare parts sector.”

The Director of Recinsa: Iván Puago, adds: “The combination of Recinsa's technical know-how and the wide range of Kramp offers an unrivalled experience for our customers. I would like to point out that it is a unique opportunity to grow and develop professionally for both teams. The combination will offer a global product and service experience that will make the difference.” Ivan Puago will remain in the organization.
