On November 16th, 2022, Medux and its labels Medipoint, HartingBank and Atlas Kidtech received the first 15 of a total of 60 new electric BYD cars. The Chinese BYD is one of the world's largest producers of electric vehicles. The electric vehicle fleet is part of the commitment made by Medux to deliver emission-free logistics in at least 25 cities by 2025.
The first batch of vehicles is extra special, because these are amongst the first BYD cars in the Netherlands. That was cause for a celebratory 'reveal' event at Louwman BYD. Terberg Business Mobility was also in attendance as Medux's mobility partner.
Sustainable mobility
Medux believes that clean and smart mobility offers the most significant opportunity for the company to make a positive climate impact. That is why reducing the carbon emissions resulting from logistics was made a top priority. Medux is also switching to other types of mobility, such as the electric cargo bike for small deliveries and repairs within city limits. In this way, the company will continue to supply medical equipment and services to healthcare providers and users, making a positive impact on people and society.
